Summer Internship

The Bay Church summer internship is a unique 6 week program for anyone looking to use their skills and gifts on a fun and flourishing church team.

Interns will gain hands-on experience and mentoring, working in a vibrant community dedicated to bringing renewal to the San Francisco Bay Area. You can expect spiritual formation, teaching, and coaching/mentorship by mature Christian leaders.

As a Communications intern, you will be creating graphics for digital and print use across events and campaigns at The Bay Church. You’ll also be capturing content for social media, as well as creating web and app content. You will learn how to leverage your gifts to communicate the gospel through beauty and art, and practice collaborating with others to meet deadlines. If you have good taste, an eye for design & are excited about engaging with multiple ministries at the same time, this might be for you!

As a Production intern, you’ll provide support for all elements relating to the production department. Your responsibilities will include facilitating production elements for all church gatherings, ProPresenter preparation, managing The Bay Church YouTube, and a variety of other production department needs. You will gain hands on experience with industry standard Audio, Video and Lighting technologies. You will also assists in building the production team by planning team celebrations and expanding the team by training new teammates!

As a Worship intern, you’ll have an opportunity to grow in your gifting, while being involved in a fun and loving community! It would be helpful to have some experience as a worship team member (musician or vocals), however not required. You’ll need to have the capacity to help support a fun and thriving worship ministry. You’ll be learning through both watching, and hands on learning!

As a Youth intern, you’ll gain experience and training in the day to day running of a youth ministry – program planning, curriculum development, communications and hospitality – as well as have the opportunity to grow in gifts such as teaching, relational discipleship and spiritual formation. This role is for you if you are driven, passionate and organized and seeking to be a part of a youth team firmly planted in word and spirit ministry.
