The Bay Church in Contra Costa County (Concord) CA is honored to present our 6th Annual Turkey Trot 5K/10K run/walk. Instead of running in Todos Santos Plaza in downtown Concord this year, we are going VIRTUAL. During Thanksgiving week, you pick the time and the place (see below for course suggestions). Wherever you are this year, be a part of this Thanksgiving tradition and make a difference.
MEET THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY
As with every year in the past, proceeds from this event will benefit The Bay Compassion - a multi-faceted program working to meet practical needs of the underserved in our communities. Our fundraising goals this year to fully resource programs at 2 more schools through Adopt-A-School and add a mobile laundry unit to our Clean Start program. Help us achieve these goals by running, walking and partnering with us this year!
Fun for the Whole Family
We are excited to share our Thanksgiving week with you, giving thanks for the opportunity to put on a fun and festive event to kick off the holiday season. A VIRTUAL RACE means you pick the time and place and you still get awesome Turkey Trot swag! Each participant will receive a race t-shirt* and a custom designed Turkey Trot finishers medal**... along with some sweet surprises. There will be age group medals and prizes for the fastest overall male/female in the 5k and 10k. We want your whole family to get involved so we have some great race stuff for kids ages 10 and under!

Official race starts on November 21 at 12:01am PST and ends on November 28 at 11:59pm PST.

Turkey Trot Finisher Medal for the first 500 registrations
“In order to qualify for an Age Group Medal, you have to submit your distance & race time. You can do this in 2 ways: 1) Track with the Runkeeper App; or 2) Manually post your results through Race Roster. We will send you a detailed email via Race Roster on how to link your Turkey Trot race to your registration.
All time corrections and adjustments need to be submitted by Monday, November 30th by 12:00pm PST in order to be eligible for 5K/10K placement.
First Overall 5K & 10K Male & Female finisher win a SHOE CERTIFICATE!
Medals Awarded in both races for First 3 Male and Female finishers in each age division: 10 & under; 11-14; 15-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Award medals will be mailed to winners within two weeks after the holiday weekend.
Kids Dash participants must be age 10 and under November 21-28.
Kids registered for the Concord Turkey Trot’s FREE Virtual Kids Dash will receive a participation ribbon and branded race bib. All Kids Dash participants who upload their running photos – with their bib on and ribbon in hand – on @ConcordCATurkeyTrot’s Facebook page will be entered in all 5 drawings for a chance to win a gift certificate from Baskin Robbins Ice Cream.
Participant packet can be picked up during either of the Packet Pick-Up days on November 7th & 8th. Locations listed in our Packet Pick-Up section. Drawing entries will be accepted from November 21st at 12:01am to November 28th at 11:59pm. The VIRTUAL Kids Dash will be maxed out at 100 participants so register your dasher today!
